Happiness doesn’t have to be big or loud. In fact, it often tiptoes in during small moments. The Happiness Project is designed to capture those moments and inspire—based on how the compact can have so much consequence. Here is an example from Dwayne Hall, Vice President Client Sales and Support at Safelite Solutions:
Moment of Happiness
This is a picture of the TPC Golf Course in Vegas, of which I recently played while on vacation with my better half. Not only is it a PGA course with several challenging holes, but the essence of nature was on full display with the desert and mountains in the background. Nature has always brought me happiness and the ability to ground myself in what really matters. We often get consumed by the daily grind of work and personal responsibilities, so there is something special about literally stopping to “smell the roses” on occasion!
Defining Happiness
My definition of happiness is how we each experience joy, contentment, and a sense of fulfillment. I think it is extremely important to point out that achieving this emotional state is like a snowflake. The meaning should be unique for every single one of us.
Creating Happiness
I believe I create happiness for others by always bringing the energy, enthusiasm, and continuing to view the world through a “glass half full” lens. I exercise my “laughing muscles” everyday and do my best to show people it is perfectly acceptable, regardless of your title or social-economic status to exude your inner-child proudly and loudly.
