Ellen Galinsky is a rock star, as far as I’m concerned. She has articulated mindsets that need to shift. Here they are:

• FROM it’s all about choice TO it’s all about tradeoffs.

There are multiple right answers and many times women aren’t faced with true choices, but with making the best of their situations. Few of us have magic wands, instead we have magical realities and lives chock full of partners, children, work, volunteer and community efforts, and ourselves. Our best work-life finds a way to integrate all of these.

This kind of integration and fulfillment is facilitated by the new mindsets Ellen sets out.
